After 5 incredible years, we are sad to announce that our lease at Creek Street will be expiring on May 31, 2019. Kiss the Berry all started after I took a trip to America, searching for something big to do in my life. When I came home, I decided that I would open an Acai cafe. At the time, my Dad said there was no way that was going to happen! So, we opened a Kiss the Berry market stall, popping up every Sunday at the Eagle Farm Markets.

We then were offered the opportunity to open a pop-up stall in this very building! I remember sitting in the store the night before opening, thinking to myself that my dreams were about to come alive, I had a fire in my belly and I was excited to create something incredible. And.. it was incredibly successful! Enough to convince my dad that we should open a real store. And so we did! Here, where you are, right now! This little gem is my very first baby, a store that will always hold such a large piece of my heart.

Before I signed my very first lease, my dad asked me a few times if I was really sure that I wanted to commit the next 5 years of my life to run a city cafe...Little did I know (and only hoped) it would grow to be something so much bigger. I can’t even begin to explain what this journey has been like, all I can say is thank you so much to our city customers! You showed us how much you loved our brand and pushed us to go big! So we did!

To all of our berry loyal city customers, don’t be too sad, watch this space! I hope to see you all at our other stores - South Bank, West End & Woolloongabba. Or, if you’re keen on a beach trip, our Burleigh Heads store.

Forever grateful,

Sarah Miller (Founder)
