Little does my partner Edward know, I have been trying to sneak in extra protein into our diet in every way possible. Since adding in the extra protein, I have seen the biggest difference in both of our moods, concentration, skin, and hair. We were definitely lacking some much-needed nutrients.

This recipe uses Prana On’s Himalayan Salted Caramel Protein, we have just introduced this flavour into our stores and the team is absolutely loving it. Next time you’re in the store, make sure you add it to your bowl or smoothie - trust me!

Feel free to sub in any flavour of protein to this recipe - will still taste delicious!

Ingredients:

125g Butter or Coconut Oil
1/2 Cup Raw Cacao Powder
3 Eggs
2 Teaspoons Vanilla Essence
1 1/2 Cups Coconut Sugar
3/4 Cup Plain Flour
1/4 Cup Salted Caramel Protein

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 160 degrees Celcius.

  2. Melt the butter in the microwave or over low heat.

  3. Mix in the raw cacao powder gradually until well combined.

  4. Lightly whisk the eggs with a fork, then combine with the cacao mixture.

  5. Then add in the coconut sugar, vanilla, protein powder, and flour. Mix thoroughly.

  6. Spoon the mixture into a lined and greased 22 x 22cm square baking dish.

  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
